Garden Screens FAQS
What are you screens made out of?
All our screens are made from a specially devised premium composite material using wood powder and recycled plastics. Our products are made in the UK for the UK and our weather conditions. Our highly durable material boasts being fully weatherproof, UV resistant, Eco-friendly, and made to be protected against damp or warping. The screens require little to no maintenance and can be enjoyed for years to come!
What kind of finish does your screens have?
All our screens come with a smooth matte finish as standard on both sides of the screen. We are meticulous when it comes to details and we believe both sides of the screen should remain symmetrical. No matter where you look from, your screen will always look beautiful on every side!
How can I make the screens freestanding?
We stock aluminium posts that are purpose built for our 16mm garden screens and very easy to install. These aluminium posts have channels to slot the screens into. The aluminium posts will allow you to use our screens to create beautiful freestanding pieces for your garden.
Can I use your screen panel both indoor & outdoor?
Yes, all our screens can be used and look beautiful both internally and externally. The screens can be fixed either horizontally or vertically depending on your requirements. We use the same premium material for all our luxury screen panels.
Can we cut your screen to size?
Yes all our premium screens can be cut to your desired size to fit any area. Cutting the screens will not affect the longevity of the product as the material itself is completely waterproof. The newly cut edges will not require any paint as our screens are naturally made out of this colour.
What thickness do I need?
All our premium screens are available in either 5mm or 16mm. If you need a screen to mount onto an existing wall external or internal then we would recommend the 5mm option. For a more thicker and premium look you can always look to use the thicker 16mm material.
Our 16mm variation is better suited for creating privacy screens, partitions or freestanding garden screens. The 16mm screens can be used with our aluminium posts that have channels so the screen can be supported thoroughly on both sides. The rigidity of each design varies as some designs have more cut-out areas than others, so please ensure a suitable design is selected to fit the purpose for use as they are made to order.
Both the 5mm/16mm can be screwed or drilled without any issues!
Can I paint the screens?
Yes if you decide the change the theme you can paint them as you wish! Contact us for our recommendation of paints to use with our screens for maximum longevity. By painting the screen you may need to maintain the look yearly unlike our natural colours.
